Editorial standards
Useful guidance begins with clear boundaries
The site distinguishes official facts, commercial representations, practical editorial judgment and issues that require professional advice.
1. Primary sources first
Rules, registrations, visitor guidance and institutional purpose are checked against the relevant official authority, government portal, regulator, financial centre, standards body or institution whenever practical. Official content is not treated as a guarantee of a commercial provider.
2. Dates and jurisdictions matter
UAE federal rules, emirate-level requirements, free-zone frameworks and venue policies may differ. Articles avoid presenting a general statement as universal when the responsible jurisdiction is material. Readers are reminded to verify current requirements at the time of action.
3. No invented metrics or claims
The site does not fabricate search volumes, market rankings, testimonials, awards, partnerships, access, credentials, prices, investment returns or property yields. When an exact figure is not necessary or reliably current, the article explains the decision without it.
4. Commercial claims are labelled by context
A seller, operator, developer or brand may describe its own product. That statement is not silently converted into an independent fact. High-value purchases and bookings should be supported by written specifications, legal entity details, invoices, licences, contracts and independent review where appropriate.
5. Advice boundaries
The site provides general education. Legal, regulatory, tax, financial, investment, immigration, valuation, medical, engineering, insurance and authentication questions require qualified professionals who can review the reader’s facts.
6. Links and editorial independence
Outbound links in journal articles are selected as first-party or authoritative planning references. The site does not operate affiliate tracking, paid placement, lead forms or booking widgets. A link does not guarantee that every statement on the destination page remains current.
7. Corrections
Substantive corrections should identify the page, statement and supporting source. Verified errors are corrected in the article, and the modification date is updated when the content materially changes. Cosmetic edits do not justify presenting every page as newly updated.
8. Privacy and restraint
Articles encourage readers to protect itineraries, identity documents, payment information, serial numbers and transaction records. The static site does not ask readers to enter personal data into forms.
9. Image policy
Featured graphics are original editorial typography illustrations created for EmiratesLuxury.com. They are not photographs of a represented venue, product, property, yacht or provider and should not be interpreted as such.
10. Reader responsibility
Readers remain responsible for verifying counterparties, contracts, current rules and suitability. The purpose of the guides is to improve the questions—not to replace the authority or professional who must answer them.
